Lone Star Trains and Collectibles is more train store and less hobby store. Though we specialize in the classic era O and S, we have all gauges new and used, and we are happy to special order whatever you need to make your empire complete.
We also carry train books, magazines, videos (rent or buy!), hats, whistles, photographs, shirts, and much more. In addition, we boast San Antonio's BEST selection of Thomas the Tank engine wooden railway AND everything Thomas from snow globes to underwear!
Although you WILL find the latest and greatest in model and toy trains at Lone Star Trains, we specialize in OUT OF PRODUCTION items, and we buy collections of anything railroad related from books to brass to old toy trains. We have purchased individual items as well entire stores!
Lone Star Trains is a family business with a staff who is eager to help you. The owners are always around and always available.
Come run trains on our 24 x 10 foot multi-gauge layout, let the kids play with our two Thomas the Tank Engine tables, or have a cup of coffee and talk trains with the other regulars. With 5600 square feet of nothing but trains and toys, you are sure to find a good time.
