This is an earlier MTH tinplate item. As such, it is not one you see for sale all that often.
It is a remake of the old classic Lionel Standard Gauge #500 series freight car: the #516 red coal hopper, which has always been one of the more striking cars.
Use it with any standard gauge, and it will be right at home. You can run it with the original or add it to the MTH tinplate cars you have.
